CNC's Basic Services

China Xinhua News Network Corporation (CNC) is a TV news network run by Xinhua News Agency, aiming to serve the audiences across the world. It will be comprised of O&O stations, affiliated stations and TV channels.         Upon the permit issued by the State Administration of Radio Film and Television on December 14, 2009, Xinhua promptly registered China Xinhua News Network Corporation and the Xinhua TV Asia-Pacific Operating Corporation in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.         According to plan, CNC global news network will cover some 100 countries and regions and will acquire overseas media market shares by 2014. It is expected to grow into a TV news terminal with global influence by 2020.         To build CNC as a brand, the English and Chinese language channels will make full use of CNC reporters stationed across the world and deliver the latest world news as it happens. We’ll strive to make CNC a viewers’ favorite. CNC will gradually develop its French, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian and other language news programs. Feature channels such as the Confucius channel and Environment channel will also be set up.         CNC is dedicated to objective reporting of information and news to the world. Although based in China, it is designed to focus on the world news, not merely covering the country’s events . Following industry standards commonly practiced, it aims to be an unbiased global news network that offers objective, comprehensive, in-depth and multi-dimensional news coverage and an alternative source of information for the global audience.
